Lose/Lose

betaray: rich friends are great for lake houses and boats
chrisd: and free drinks-- last week they rented out a club, we showed up, were ushered in, they had their own waiters, etc, etc
chrisd: it was a classically douchey affair: rented out Palms club, they had some painter painting (in time with the music!) on the windows of the place, and lots of jeans and blazers and unbuttoned pink shirts
spruce: my skin crawls just thinking about it
chrisd: we drank their liquor, smiled, and went home
Niteowl: see, stories like that sap all ambition in me to go private sector and work my ass off to make more money to buy more toys and possibly a pink button down shirt.
